Claremont Sunrise Rotary - Youth Sports Scholarships

Eligibility: Any child that attends a Claremont school (public or private) from ages 8 to 18 years old who is participating in a sport that is played in Claremont will be eligible.

Qualifications: Funds will be granted to the individual directly or through the league, organization, or club for costs related to registration costs that can include uniforms and equipment costs.

Amounts: Player awarded funds will be a minimum of $50 to a max of $250. No particular sport, club, group, or organization will receive more than $1000 in any calender year.

Procedure: Player or Team will fax or e-mail to our review committee the application. The request will include player's and/or team's name, sport, organization involved, limiting circumstances, requested amount, and school being attended.

Funds will be transferred directly to League or Player upon majority approval of the committee.

Committee: The Claremont Sunrise Rotary Club's Sports Scholarship Committee will be made up of five (5) members who will vote on each request. A majority vote will be required to approve each request. An annual review of funds will be provided to the board and presented to the club at a club assembly each year.
